WHAT WILL I BE DOING? Help deliver the planned sales and profitability of the department by managing and optimising your categories through effective planning and trading Planning budgets and presenting sales forecasts and figures to the management team for your categories Create a wholesale top line quarterly/ seasonal strategy relating to all kpi's working collaboratively with the sales team Provide historical analysis to develop quarterly / seasonal planning forecasts and regular analysis of category performance to maximise commercial opportunities Provide weekly summary of key performance indicators within departments of responsibility and the wider business, relating to sales, stock, profit, versus budget and last year. Monitor wholesale & retail products, sell throughs and work with the regional trading teams to manage company inventory Through strategic planning and trading of the department, manage the intake flow into the business to hit monthly forecasts, drive sales and minimise risks. Manage and in-season trading of OTB to deliver the inventory targets for your categories and the brand. Category ownership within quarterly buys for full price and outlet: analysing sales, product selection, sales/ST% forecasting and buy planning in line with OTB.
