Job description

POSITION SUMMARY Supports 360 campaigns to support overall brand strategy and activation with guidance. Using either globally supplied assets or locally produced assets, create window artwork, lightboxes, lithos for display units, pricing strips and retailer assets Work to tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment, creating design concepts for multiple brands. Have the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritise tasks and distribute workload effectively, together with the ability to work under pressure. You will have good written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills, attention to detail and good presentation skills. Ensure, accuracy, clarity and consistency of style, presentation and usability across individual brand projects. Create unique, engaging, creative and commercially focused ecommerce designs. Extensive commercial experience of graphic and digital design environment together with a very strong design portfolio. KEY ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES - As a Graphic Designer you will be working across both print and digital formats to create high quality designs - Develop assets for innovative, locally relevant, digital experiences to support brand strategy with guidance - Responsible for working across concepts through to design and technical detailing - Develop innovative 2D and digital concepts - Ability to demonstrate a wide range of experience in graphic design with an excellent eye for detail - Leverages a digital and mobile-first mindset in design with guidance, showing some awareness of competitive landscape, trends and emerging technologies - Supports 360 campaigns to support overall brand strategy and activation with guidance - Ensures adherence to brand guidelines in own work - Collaborates with VM to enhance consumer communication and overall retail experience - Using either globally supplied assets or locally produced assets, create Window artwork, lightboxes, lithos for display units, pricing strips, - Ability to work on multiple display advertising campaigns is a must. Have the ability to understand technical and design constrains with display advertising for all device - Creating extensive guideline documents for advertising campaigns and wider projects - Being involved in the communication of guideline documents to third party agencies Key Roles and Responsibiliies - Work with printers to ensure print quality and colour matching - Printed on-counter POS (2-D & 3-D) - Collateral layouts for in-store promotions - Promotional literature - Transparency layouts and guidelines - Bespoke in-store prints, and claddings - Merchandising guidelines and internal communications (print / digital) - Local advertising - Digital content creation (bespoke screen content, online advertising) - Art working & adaptation - Whilst remaining within the identified brand parameters, these must constantly push boundaries in terms of creativity, form, and materials. They should reflect the brand's position as a market leader and never be formulaic or repetitive. - Ability to keep abreast of innovative design trends - Creative, innovative and willing to contribute ideas and professional opinion Experience of high-end products preferable - Actively aware of all areas of design across beauty, luxury, fashion, trends, lifestyle brands Quality Control - Ensure constant communication with all suppliers to maintain appropriate standards of print and colour matching. - Approval of all cropping and balancing of graphic and photographic elements. - Ensure the Creative Direction and consistency of the brand is adhered to through the correct use of logos, typefaces, and imagery across all disciplines. Project Management - Maintain a good knowledge of the promotional calendar throughout the year. - Ensure workload and priorities are managed to ensure all agreed deadlines are met. - Ensure good channels of communication are maintained with all relevant departments, retailers and suppliers. Relationships - Provide guidance and support to the Marketing department to maintain expected standards of design, creativity and commercial impact. - Provide guidance and support to the Visual Merchandising team by providing bespoke layouts and artwork for storefront/ column claddings. - Provide support to the 3-D designer in all local initiatives, and creation of visuals - Establish/maintain good relations with Global Creative Department in New York and UK brand representatives Q


Experience & Skills Summary - Expert Adobe Creative Cloud - Art Direction - Conceptualisation - Team player attitude - Office 365 - Excel and Word capabilities required - Excellent attention to detail and ability to work under pressure - Experience of 3D visualisation with SketchUp an advantage - Video editing experience (ideally with Adobe Premier Pro & After effects) and advantage - Experience creating interactive PDFs using InDesign Must-haves - Digital-mobile-first mindset - Understanding of local culture and promotions - Awareness of emerging trends in the region - Creative integration across all media/sales channels - Experience managing vendor relationships - Global mindset and multicultural understanding - Experience in Instagram, Snapchat, YouTube - Experience in "bite size" content and video production, catered to GenZ/Millennials Nice to haves - Drive for innovation and disruption with luxury mindset - Experience working against global guidelines - Int'l education/work experience - Support Art direction of shoots for photography and video - Animation, photography & video editing skills desirable - UX & UI advantageous
