Job description
The Supply Planner is a pivotal role in the UK & Ireland Supply Chain organisation, driven to enable commercial business goals through operational excellence and outstanding customer service. The role is responsible for managing international product supply, local inventory optimisation and go-to-market order execution across multiple brands, categories and channels.

ORGANISATION
Reports to Head of Supply Chain & Demand Planning

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
Inventory optimisation: drive continuous improvement to overall inventory holdings, delivering both availability and asset management objectives. This includes stock holding parameter management through the demand requirements plan, lead time reduction, excess and obsolescence prevention.
Customer service level / order fulfilment: Track, report and manage supply constraints and out of stock product scenarios, providing detailed root cause analysis and implementing corrective and preventative actions. Communicate to key stakeholders the risks, impacts and recovery timelines.
New launch critical path management: Partner with international supply chain teams to deliver on time and in full deliveries to customers across saleable products and point of sale materials inline with on counter dates.
Ecommerce inventory management: Manage direct to consumer product availability to provide first class service to our online consumers
Sales & Operations Planning: Partner with Demand Planning teams to deliver a best in class S&OP monthly process. Lead inventory analysis and effectively communicate challenges and opportunities to enable critical business and operating decisions with senior leadership.
Cost optimisation / speed-to-market: Partner with Distribution and Logistics teams to identify and deliver operational efficiencies and streamline processes
Masterdata management: maintain accuracy and integrity across all aspects of product information, reporting and systems parameters
Project management: Lead / participate in key initiatives spanning the end to end supply chain and broader business
Profile
Previous experience within an international supply chain organisation
Excellent numerical skills and analytical ability
Proactive and collaborative with the ability to multi task and demonstrate flexibility
Excellent communication, interpersonal and customer service skills. Ability to deal effectively with all levels of business personnel and see the wider commercial impact
Ability to influence internal partners across various cultures (Europe, Middle East and US) in order to achieve supply chain and business goals.
Systems experience: SAP, BI Reporting, Microsoft Office
