WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR
The role of a Strategic Account Executive is a critical role for Converse, as we are accelerating our focus towards our strategic partners.
We are looking for a Pureplay Strategic Account Executive with strong account management experience and knowledge of the digital market.
WHAT YOU WILL WORK ON
- Account Management: Work with the Strategic Account Manager to effectively execute the strategic account plan. Accountable for all elements of account management including Go To Market and KAPM, futures, at once and closeout sales, in line with budgets and specific order capture deadlines. Provide account feedback to key stakeholders including the Strategic Account Manager and Business Planning Manager. Consistently developing market knowledge on product trends, pricing and the competition to maximize Converse product placement and sales within the account. Effective implementation of seasonal brand communication initiatives, in line with strategic account direction.
- Planning: Work with Strategic Account Manager to develop accurate and realistic go-to-market plans, seasonal assortments, forecasts and scenario plans. Conduct monthly and seasonal business reviews with account. Meet all reporting deadlines in a timely and consistent manner.
- Communication: Establish and maintain timely, consistent and positive external and internal relationships. Provide exceptional customer service by developing and maintaining strong relationships with key customer personnel at all levels of the customer's business. Communicate daily with customer operations contacts and Strategic Account Manager ensuring all are aware and informed of opportunities, problems, progress, and support needed.
- Results: Accountable for the execution and coordination of the day to day running of the account, ensuring all budgets and deadlines are met in a timely and consistent manner.
WHO YOU WILL WORK WITH
In this role you will report to a Strategic Account Manager. You will work very closely with the Integrated Account team and more specifically with the Business Planning Team and Customer Operations Team.

Profile

WHAT YOU BRING
- Strong account management experience ideally within the Fashion / Sports or Retail industry
- Proven track record of managing external account relationships with the buying and merchandising teams
- Strong strategic capabilities
- Sales experience with a strong awareness of selling dynamics
- Strong interpersonal and influencing skills
- Excellent communication skills - verbal, written and powerpoint
- Process and operational capability
- Strong knowledge of the Converse business and products
- Strong Team dynamic - cross multiple functions
- Ability to analyze retailer sales data to identify opportunities, and act accordingly.
