Job description

Working with the Packaging and Labelling Manager, the Sourcing Co-ordinator will source and manage stock on all packaging bearing the New Look brand, including labels, hangers, and barcodes. Additionally, you will work closely with the Buying and Merchandising departments to guarantee the supply of cost-effective and compliance packaging.

A person who enjoys working with numbers, has strong Microsoft Excel skills and analytical mind would be well-suited for this entry-level position.

Accountabilities and Responsibilities:

Reporting and Finance

  • Management of barcode ordering by product teams.
  • Monthly monitoring of stock levels, escalation of any stock issues and support with quarterly updates to finance and senior management.
  • Reconciliation of product suppliers labelling, and hanger orders compared to product orders.
  • Support with forecasting of packaging spend monitoring accuracy.
  • Raising invoices to external suppliers.

  • Approving and maintaining artwork files, price matrixes and support with cost negotiations.
  • Creating supplier manuals and uploading to our online system.
  • Work with label suppliers to develop new packaging and maintain their online ordering systems.
  • Collaborates with International Standard Manager to ensure packaging meets the legal requirements for all markets.
  • Monitor lead times and resolve issues within the packaging supply chain to ensure speed to market of product to store/multi-channel.
Administration and other areas of responsibility

  • Complete supplier on-boarding/delisting and to provide support to the wider Sourcing team with general administrative tasks and trouble shooting.
  • Can cover key tasks for Packaging and Labelling Manager
About you:

  • Experience in Clothing Retail desirable or providing business analysis or ideally both.
  • Highly analytical with the ability to interpret numbers who is confident in Microsoft Excel.
  • Must be organised, with the ability to work independently and prioritise own workload.
  • Strong communication and time management skills to effectively handle multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Ability to question and provide suggestions on how to improve processes and ways of working.
  • 'Can do' approach and customer focussed to support our internal and external stakeholders.
  • Acts as a key member of cross functional teams, including supporting the wider sourcing team.
