Job description

Please note that candidates who are immediately available and open to potential fixed term contracts will be prioritised. The Communications Manager is responsible for creating and implementing the UK & Ireland Communications and Influencer strategy. Promoting Brand Love with traditional media, influencers and through stand out events and activities for Glam Glow, ADF, Smashbox, and Lab Series JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: Communications Department: Build UK & Ire Communications, PR and Influnecer strategy in line with brand Key KPIs (EMV, awareness& consideration, SOM and Retail Sales objectives) Ensure increased levels of coverage year on year in line with set objectives. Continue to grow momentum and new moments, continually building on brand awareness Develop and maintain excellent relationships with retail partners, target media of all disciplines: print, online, social, influencer and broadcast. Develop and implement National and Regional media strategy for new product launches, new store launches and events in line with the brand's aims and objectives and the overall Marketing strategy. Monitor results and achieve department targets. Management and Development: Develop the Communications team across all key areas of the business and elevate their exposure to senior press, projects and external contacts Work closely with E-Comm/Marketing/Sales/Education department heads to identify and generate Communications activity to uplift service and sales figures. Ensure cohesive Communications Plan. Localise global brand communications and social strategy. Thinking Strategically and Building Collaborative Relationships: Proactively suggest and create brand appropriate partnerships -events, traditional media/ digital titles / influencers - that underpin the Global and regional strategic objectives Help create and maintain a creative atmosphere of open and positive communication, professionalism and support at all times. Content Activity and Events Ensure strong relevant relationships with all key external suppliers for the brands and work with them on engaging, cross-function events through the year to further the brand buzz and awareness. Ensure social content support is present at all events working with marketing to make it a full 360 consumer social campaign Own the heritage of Glam Glow, Smashbox Cosmetics, ADF & Lab Series by ensuring an "always on" strategy of events and specifically service in the Smashbox Studio Store. Compile and execute influencer strategies with the goal of driving strong engagement, stand out content and awareness. Work closely with Social Media Manager to create relevant brand content for all social channels Work closely with Studio manager to ensure the studio space is used to its full awareness potential within social media/press /influencers/photographers Identity and encourage pro-makeup masterclasses and PRO events at the studio to encourage revenue, awareness and content Work closely with Studio manager to approve and manage those using the studio store spaces to ensure they receive a high-touch experience when at Smashbox. Build on the success of the existing outreach to bloggers/vloggers/makeup artists/photographers and influencers by giving them a space to be creative with the support of Smashbox Financial Accountabilities Full management and responsibility of the Communications budget, tracking expenditures in accordance with departmental/regional budget allocation. Ensure the timely submission and accuracy of credit card statements, expense reports and company owned asset processes. Proactively seek and host revenue focused makeup artist/pro events in the studio Q
