We have a rare opportunity to join our team in London as Showroom Senior Manager on a Maternity Cover contract. Burberry Showroom is the biggest luxury Showroom in Europe operating like a flagship store. The space plays a huge part as window to our Brand, the launchpad of all collections and initiatives, functioning both as a creative space but also commercial when required. Operating in alignment with the business strategies, policies, KPI’s and ways of working, Showroom supports the organisation by ensuring a luxurious Burberry image at all times.

We are looking for a talented individual to deliver the transition into 6 markets a year across our London and Paris offices, continuing to navigate the pandemic, and supporting Director of Showroom and Business Partners in delivering the virtual showroom experience.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

-Working under the Commercial wing of Burberry London managing and leading the Showroom to deliver best in class processes and efficiencies across 6 Wholesale Markets per year, contributing to the wholesale delivery of approximately £480M revenue annually
- Responsible for implementing all processes to the Global Showroom teams (Paris and London), supporting the brand strategies from a consumer and operational perspective
- Manage the team effectively through mentoring and coaching style, working closely with each team member, giving regular feedback and support
- Lead monthly budget meetings with the finance team, working with the assistant manager operations delivering within budget
- Partnering with the Showroom Samples Manager to deliver against the product critical path for all categories

• Proven track record of working in a luxury/fashion environment
• Experience of leading and managing large teams
• Experience managing large budgets 
• Senior stakeholders management experience
• Good understanding of the Planning and Merchandising critical path, including market calendars
• Knowledge of the Samples critical path
• Experience in managing schedules and calendars
• Deep understanding of the luxury business
