Job description
We are seeking a highly motivated and customer focused luxury store associate ro join our team on Savile Row. As a sales associate you will play a key role in creating an exceptional shopping experience for our clientele and provide support to our female tailoring team.
RETAIL STORE ASSOCIATE - DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES STORE SUPPORT
Greet and assist clients in a professional and welcoming manner with a commitment to delivering exceptional customer service.
Turn inquiries into prospective clients and maintain strong relationships with the existing client base.
Provide knowledgeable and informed recommendations to customers.
Stay up-to-date on product knowledge and company policies to effectively communicate with customers.
Maintain store visual standards and ensure visual presentation, Atelier maintenance and housekeeping is kept to high standards, both on and off the shop floor.
Operate point-of-sale systems, handle cash and credit transactions, and process returns and exchanges on Shopify and internal systems.
Assist with inventory management and restocking of inventory.
Collaborate with team members to meet and exceed store goals.
Responsible for daily and weekly store flash reports.
Assist with maintaining a seamless experience for customers in the tailoring process, including the organization of fitting garments for appointments and support during appointments as necessary.
Monitor Shopify on a daily basis to track e-commerce orders.
Trunk shows and events.
Assistance with in-store events, marketing, and occasional photo shoots, dependent on client appointments.
Responsible for shipping retail and ecommerce orders to clients.
Responsible for courier and taxi bookings within London and the UK, support for international courier shipments.
Ad hoc responsibilities as necessary
TAILOR APPOINTMENT SUPPORT
Logging in all client orders upon arrival into the retail store.
Assist with any client fittings when needed.
Support the organisation of fit garments before and after client appointments.
Manage alteration receipts and the contacting of the clients for final fits and collection.
Maintain accurate records of appointment dates for internal systems.
Support with fabric and trim sourcing.
REQUIREMENTS/ SKILLS/ QUALIFICATIONS
Proven experience in a customer-facing role, preferably within a luxury retail organisation.
Passion for luxury goods and fashion.
Strong time management and organizational skills.
Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
The ability to multitask whilst maintaining attention to detail
Loves to provide excellent customer service.
Able to work well independently as well as in a team environment.
Comfortable working quickly and efficiently.
Action-oriented with a sense of urgency and a strong work ethic.
Exceptional communication and skills, both written and verbal.
Commitment to continuous self-improvement.
Proficient with Microsoft Excel and Google Documents.
Experience with photoshop and illustrator
Knowledge of tailoring and alteration techniques a plus
Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including weekends and evenings
