Job description

Purpose of the Role

We currently seek dedicated Retail Consultants to work within our new store opening in Aesop Canary Wharf, London.

The successful applicants will have flexible availability and will be required to work weekends. We are looking for both Part Time and Full Time positions.

The Retail Consultant has the primary responsibility to sell our products through natural and intentional customer interactions. Through effective communication and selling skills they explore possibilities and unite customers with products that meet their needs, thus building lasting customer relationships and contributing to Aesop's commercial success.

Key Experience, Knowledge & Skills

  • Experience in customer service environment e.g., retail, hospitality
  • Proven track record of effective selling skills and ability to drive commercial outcomes
  • History of successfully participating in and contributing to a team
  • Demonstrated ability to utilise empathy to manage interpersonal relationships
  • Working knowledge of skin care and skin care industry
  • Knowledge of hair care, body care, fragrance and home categories (advantageous)
  • Strong communication skills
  • Excellent problem-solving skills
