What will I be doing?
Leading a team of Recruiters you will be responsible for ensuring the business has the most effective recruitment strategies and processes in place to enable the business to attract, recruit and retain the best people.
You will develop and oversee the implementation of the Next Recruitment strategy to ensure all recruitment needs are met across our Head Office Operational areas and manage the team to make sure the highest service level is delivered to the business, at a significantly reduced cost, when compared to using agencies alone.
On top of the day to day responsibilities you’ll also participate in/lead all recruitment projects and liaise cross functionally with other recruitment teams to identify areas of mutual interest.
Next has an established Graduate Recruitment programme and you will support the Recruiters with the annual Graduate Recruitment campaigns.
We are looking for a decisive and strategic thinker with the ability to communicate in a professional manner with tact and confidentiality. You will be a subject matter expert and advise the business on the best strategies to meet staffing needs in the most efficient and cost effective way, therefore you will need to demonstrate significant relevant previous experience, ideally within both in-house and agency capacity.
Next is a fast paced business where things are always changing. You’ll be managing recruitment across multiple areas, so you’ll need to demonstrate that you have lots of energy and a positive can do attitude coupled with the ability to multi task and prioritise the importance of activity and output.
A genuine passion for driving improvements and keeping up to date with the latest innovations will help you to keep our in house recruitment team and ultimately the business leading the way.
This is a business facing role so you’ll have a demonstrable ability to confidently interact and build relationships at all levels; being persuasive and positively assertive with personal credibility and the ability to stand your ground with conviction without causing offence.
