ROLE SUMMARY
The Quality Engineer plays a key role in implementing, monitoring, and sustaining the quality policy, standards, and procedures in Coty operations. The role involves a direct involvement from design to shipment of high-quality products in a Fast-Moving-Consumer-Goods environment. This role involves providing a strong and effective support to the supply chain concerning all matters in quality.

ROLE SUMMARY
The Quality Engineer plays a key role in implementing, monitoring, and sustaining the quality policy, standards, and procedures in Coty operations. The role involves a direct involvement from design to shipment of high-quality products in a Fast-Moving-Consumer-Goods environment. This role involves providing a strong and effective support to the supply chain concerning all matters in quality.
YOU WILL
- Work closely with global suppliers, subcontractors, and inter-company departments, including within the lines in the factory, as well as a variety of distributors in order to achieve and monitor the specified quality levels and performance.
- Create, edit, approve, review, and maintain quality control procedures.
- Partake in internal and external quality/Health & Safety audits.
- Present and share information on processes or practices with external auditors or visitors.
- Provide quality advice and guidance to manufacturing & assembly departments.
- Conduct Quality training.
- Work with Value streams to investigate quality failures to determine root causes and suggest solutions or process changes.
- Be responsible for timely and effective quality analysis and batch file review / release of finished goods.
- Support the Line Certification programme and continuously develop/improve systems and procedures to improve Right First Time (RFT) and minimise quality risks.
- Contribute to and participate in continuous improvement activities as required.
- Perform Supplier Audits using the appropriate Corporate Audit Questionnaire.
- Take part in supplier assessment and approval.
- Contact and develop relationships with suppliers and production to determine root causes of any failures.
- Assist with monthly reports, trending, and monitoring of key performance indicators.
- Continuously look at ways to drive waste reduction.
- Partake in Product recall/traceability simulations.
- Represent department at key meetings, projects or working groups, delegate for Quality Manager where necessary.
- Adhere to Health Safety, Quality, Good Laboratory Practice, Good Manufacturing Practice (ISO 22716), and Hygiene Policies.

- Minimum 10-year experience in international cosmetic or pharmaceutical industry specifically in Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) quality assurance.
- At least 5 years of relevant experience in an international company in the consumer goods industry.
- In depth understanding of the cosmetic industry and European and US legal requirement, knowledge of ISO 22716/ISO9001 is a plus.
