Luxury fashion lifestyle brand, Aspinal of London, are hiring for our Marketing Department. At Aspinal, we do things differently. Role Overview:

The PR / Communication manager will report directly into the Head of Marketing & Communications.

The role will be overseeing all of the brands in house and external communications, press relations, VIP dressing and sample management including but not limited to the below:


  • Lead and develop and execute the public relations strategies with confidence and assurance for the brand, including product launches, events, expansions, and partnerships
  • Leverage new and existing media contacts to generate priority media coverage for Aspinal within Fashion, Creative, Lifestyle, Travel and other retail / trade relevant sectors
  • Elevate visibility of key executives, creating sought-after thought leaders, including arranging speaking engagements
  • Develop and produce high-quality press releases, press kits, award submissions, and other materials
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that product, marketing, and content initiatives are optimised for media coverage; brainstorm new ideas with those teams
  • Contribute to the growth and development of the team utilising your PR strategy experience
  • Proactively research and identify PR and brand opportunities with existing clients and develop recommendations for new ones also
  • Share your extensive knowledge of market trends and strategic thinking on a seasonal basis to the business
  • Engage with new / PR relevant partners and suppliers whilst developing positive and strong relationships
  • Creating content and assets for the brand seasonally to be used on the brand's website, for PR purposes and on social media
  • Oversee VIP dressing and gifting strategy working alongside the Head of Marketing & Social Media Manager  
  • Nurture and maximise brand relationships with particular focus on retail, wholesale and international partners
  • Creation and implementation of a monthly and season editorial calendar, focusing on key season and product launches alongside key international cultural events, moments and considerations
  • Supporting the CEO and Creative Director on all interview requests; as well having the responsive nature to internal and external crisis’s that may impact the business and brand
  • Analyse monthly media coverage; track sentiment and develop responses when needed
  • Management of all samples on a seasonal basis alongside team assistant and our Brook Street Store
  • Overseeing all administration elements including media grid, pitching list, AVE etc.
  • Willing and able to travel in the UK & Internationally
  • When required willing and able to support the wider team with social media, stock takes and other administrative elements

Skills Required:
  • 5+ years previous experience within a high-pressured environment for a Fashion brand
  • Educated to degree level in a related field desirable
  • Great press contacts, particularly within the UK and preferable in the US
  • Demonstrated success in securing high-impact placements for clients or companies
  • Extensive experience in PR, either in-house (ideally Fashion / Lifestyle) or with an agency
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills; creative thinker who can contribute to content and brand marketing projects
  • Excellent and persuasive communicator; able to articulate key messages clearly and confidently and able to build and maintain internal and external relationships
  • Experience in managing samples, Fashion GPS experience favourable
  • Experience in reporting, proficient in DMR favourable
  • Ability to work with initiative and independence with set guidelines
  • Motivated with a ‘can-do’ attitude to problems
  • Excellent attention to detail, highly organised
  • Team player but can work alone and independently
