Our Distribution Centers are at the heart of our Retail and Online operations, ensuring our brands' products are readily available to customers throughout the world handling more than 100 million units from approximately 55 countries around the world using a combination of sea, air and road.

You will be responsible for around 500 - 1000 people, both blue and white collar, so having some knowledge of dealing with unionised workforces would be highly advantageous.
Day to Day
- Ensure all recruitment and selection is delivered in a timely manner within company guidelines and current legislation- Benchmark the recruitment market to ensure adequate supply of labour is available- Provide impartial advice and guidance on all HR matters, ensuring a consistent approach is maintained at all times- Support the management team by attending disciplinary and grievance meetings as required- Manage referrals to Occupational Health in order to obtain up to date medical information on all matters relating to employment as and when and required- Ensure all new policies are communicated and implemented accurately and timely- Track sickness and absence data to ensure it is managed within the agreed budget - raising any anomalies to the HRM/GM- Ensure the employment advice and guidance given to management is in line with Employment Law to reduce the risk of Employment Tribunals- Ensure SLA timelines are met to provide a consistent timely service to the business- Understand the DCs' operational KPIs and the impact these have on the business context- Schedule and attend weekly HR surgeries based in the DC- Audit HR Personnel files in line with department standards- Ensure that continuous improvement in line with Operational Standards are maintained- Support, mentor and coach the HR Assistants in order to reach their full potential- Deputise for the HR Manager when absent from the business to ensure continuity of service- Work with other DCs to share best practice, build relationships and maximise effectiveness
