Job description

Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Welcome and assist the customer (Connect) identify their needs (Convert) concluding the transaction (Confirm) comply the customers details into the data base in order to (Continue) to stay connected (Continue) and maintain the highest level of service
- Meet store and personal sales objectives and KPI's by delivering an elevated and personalized level of service and communication to all customers in store and via outreach
- Acquire, develop and retain a loyal client base of Very Important Customers (VIC's), Super VIC's and Top clients through advanced competency ultilising the Company clientelling tools and progressive ways of selling
- Generate quotes, follow up and close sales. Be able to report on ongoing business and pipeline.
- Consistently leverage the customer in- store services, including but not limited to: Gift cards, Personalization, Delivery service, Transfers, Holds, Private appointments, on- line and digital services
- Maintain and share in depth level of product knowledge and stock availability. Categories including furniture, lighting, fabric & wallpaper, rugs and home furnishings.
- Effectively network and remain up to date with competitor activity including trends, events, campaigns within the local and wider community
- Participate in store merchandising activities in line with the Ralph Lauren Brand Image directives and standards, including but not limited to: Daily stock maintenance and standards, Replenishment, Product transfers, New product launches and Seasonal floor changeovers
- Assist customers in all areas of the customer journey and after sales care
- Communicate Product and Customer feedback to buyers and managers
- Contribute to the maintenance of standards in the back of house and communal areas
- Actively participate and contribute to store briefs and training
- Always adhere to all company policies and standard operating procedures


- Has proven successful experience and keen interest in Homeware luxury retail, preferable furniture
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain strong working relationships.
- Maintains in depth product Knowledge
- Has a strong focus on achieving personal sales and KPI goals
- Consistently acquires, develops and retains customer relationships
- Moves with urgency to deliver results and solution driven
- Supports development of others through coaching Sales Associates
- Communicates with confidence and maintains highest level of professionalism
- Proven capacity to utilize technology to drive sales, excellent computer skills
- Exhibits pride through a positive demeanor, body language, personal presentation and dress standards in line with the Ralph Lauren expectations
- Identifies and acts on self-development opportunities to improve performance
