Job description

To train and lead Laura Mercier Artists and Business Managers in exceptional makeup artistry skills, sales techniques and service standards, to develop and drive the Laura Mercier business and meet productivity & service expectations. Support and deliver Training Seminars, In-Store artist development, Certification, Special Events participation and team building alongside the National Education Manager.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
- Deliver Training Development Programs for Make-up Artists and Business Managers developed by corporate office
- Teach Laura Mercier Artists product knowledge, artistry skills and selling behaviours to enable them to consistently achieve and exceed sales & service goals
- Function as a resource and leader providing product and sales expertise to establish and reinforce brand authority
- Support the National Education & Events Manager in the creation and development of education and development programs for Make-up Artists and Business Managers
- Strategize with National Education & Events Manager and Area Sales & Education Managers to develop, execute and review store action plans
- Support industry activity, PR and Marketing as required, through content creation, photoshoots, and virtual consultations
- Strong social media understanding and presence that promotes training and creates engaging artist facing content.
- Coach Laura Mercier Artists in-store on behaviours that project the brand image and drive sales
- Conduct store visits regularly to review programs and goals, assess Artists artistry, productivity, selling environment, address areas of challenge, and identify areas for development
- Manage the end to end journey of both in-store and virtual events.
- Set targets for animation, events and store visits. Effectively and consistently track events, training and animation and provide reports to National Education & Events Manager.
- Initialize and support National and Regional engagement initiatives
- Manage travel and accommodation within budget and look for the best deals by booking ahead of time. Review all travel bookings well ahead of time of departure.
- Keep regular correspondence with the corporate office via email and phone
- Collaborate with National Education & Events Manager to create digital content to address regional needs.

Profile

- Experience of working in makeup education.
- Proven success with coaching and developing others
- Excellent presentation skills
- Excellent written and verbal skills
- Proficient in Word, Excel and PowerPoint
- Confident with strong interpersonal skills and the ability to converse and liaise at all levels.
- Ability to work in a pressurised environment and meet tight deadlines
- Ability to work independently whilst retaining team focus
- Willing to travel regularly as per business requirements
- Exceptional organizational and time management skills
