As Sales Representative, ASICS UK (Midlands) you'll develop long term sustainable relationships with defined accounts throughout the designated territory. With your help, we maximise all footwear and apparel sales and drive mutually profitable growth for both the customer and ASICS.
You are an energetic self-starter with a proven sales background and strong commercial nous, the work you do on your patch will play a major role in realising the business's broader financial objectives and distribution strategy - enhancing perceptions of the ASICS brand globally.

Profile

We're looking for a talented, proactive and influential salesperson who has a genuine affinity with the sports and leisure industry. A people-person, you'll be tirelessly customer-orientated, combining excellent listening skills with powers of inspiring, negotiating and convincing to maintain long-term, sustainable relationships with specialised customers.
Based in Warrington, UK and reporting to Richard, our Sales Manager, as part of the role you'll:
- Be responsible for accounts' sales and product forecasting - monthly and seasonally.
- Manage, monitor and ensure delivery of agreed sales targets.
- Ensure relevant gap-fill plans are devised to rectify sales gaps
- Act as a point of contact for customers and Sales Desk queries when needed.
- Take part in trade fairs and events to enhance the ASICS brand.
- Provide structured monthly feedback on products to the Line Manager and Marketing department.
- Work with Line Manager to develop specific budget co-op activities with targeted accounts.
- Ensure best in class in-store presentation of both product and POS through own focus and clear communication to the Brand Trainer Team.

What we're looking for
- Graduate in Business Administration or another commercial background.
- At least 2 years' practical sales or retail experience in the Sports or FMCG market.
- Good knowledge of the sports trade market and the requirements of accounts.
- Excellent English language skills (spoken and written).
- IT skills, including MS Excel and PPT.
- Confident presentation and communication abilities.
- Flexibility to work on own initiative and as part of a team.
