The Music Room is located in the heart of Mayfair, less than a minute’s walk from Bond Street tube station. The venue is well known for working with leading luxury fashion brands hosting Sample and Archive sales as well as private Friends and Family sales.

Job description

-Manage retail events from the planning stage through to operational delivery
-Maintain the events diary and follow up on provisional bookings
-Actively seek new opportunities to grow the business and achieve designated targets
-Produce detailed proposals for clients looking to host an event
-Draft contracts and raise invoices to confirm bookings
-Coordinate suppliers, handle client queries and troubleshoot on the day of the event to ensure that all runs smoothly and to budget
-Manage a team of staff during events
-Produce end of day financial reports
-Deputise for the venue manager in their absence
-Oversee and support administration and marketing personnel
-Manage day to day maintenance and H&S of the building
-Key holder


-Minimum 3 years’ experience in the luxury brand retail sector
-Previous experience in a supervisor/manager position within the luxury brand retail sector
-Proven experience of managing a team
-Excellent attention to detail
-Experience with POS operations and end of day reports
-Experience with stock control and merchandising
-Must demonstrate strong customer service skills, good verbal communication skills and    enjoy working with the public
-Flexible work schedule includes weekends and holidays
