Job description

At the Estée Lauder Companies, our consumer is at the heart of everything we do. This role will be responsible for end-to-end consumer experience, across all touchpoints with a digital-first mindset. This role will be responsible for collaboratively formulating the strategy and innovation model and supporting the business in executing initiatives that bring to life consumer journeys for all brands within the ELC portfolio. The Enterprise Marketing Consumer Experience Director will ensure our consumers have the best experience with relevant, personalised touchpoints that leverage data, insights and analytics to fuel innovation. In close partnership with the Digital Media Director and with the creative studio, the Consumer Experience lead will drive new concepts, storytelling & experiences that support our brands to gain market share. Key Responsibilities Working collaboratively with Online, IT, retail, supply chain and brand teams, the Consumer Experience Director will enhance the holistic consumer journey and provide best in class high-touch digital services through: Evaluating internal and external good practices and innovations with an ELC enterprise lens and making strategic recommendations on areas for focus Identifying revenue driving improvements and innovations opportunities to elevate journeys that recruit new consumers to our brands and drive loyalty through the lens of 360 marketing campaigns. This includes content, service, order & delivery, value proposition, product portfolio, consumer education, cross-funnel metrics and omni handoffs. Supporting the brands and COEs in bringing to life activations across the portfolio through providing guidelines and toolkits Researching best practices from beauty companies and other industries and sharing them with relevant business stakeholder Proposing and agreeing KPIs for the business to measure key touchpoints in the consumer journey and effectiveness of activations. Providing all brands with regular competitor analysis across our DTC channels Supporting the implementation of pilots and share learning across the network. Working closely with the technical experts in the COE's/ Functions to enable functionality Q


Knowledge, Experience & Skills We are looking for a candidate who can react with speed and agility to the changing landscape, with ability to think strategically and take a 360, consumer-led approach to our business. Significant experience in consumer marketing, digital, online or omni Ability to package, pitch and influence decision making Ability to manage cross-function/brand projects that deliver strong outcomes Strong consumer empathy & understanding, with a passion for building first-class experiences Ability to innovate & generate new ideas that enhance end to end consumer journeys Strong understanding of digital, online & omnichannel functionality to partner with existing business experts Data driven decision making Manges ambiguity and multiple projects with positive energy Strong presentation skills and executive presence Ability to lead, inspire and motivate teams Demonstrate the ability to design effective research Working knowledge of online tools e.g. SimilarWeb / GA Understanding of UX and technical product requirements Experience with Consumer Data, CDP, CRM and Omni-retailing tools is preferred
