We are looking for a talented candidate to maximise the Apparel opportunity in New Balance own channels, driving consistency and efficiency across the region and additionally elevate the accessories business in both Wholesale and DTC channelsMAJOR ACCOUNTABILITIES:
- Deliver business targets (volume, gross margin and style efficiency) for Direct to Consumer (DTC) Apparel & Accessories
- Collaborate with the EMEA DTC team to define and determine the regional DTC needs across E.com, Full Price Retail & Outlets
- Liaise with Global DTC Merchandising and proactively input into the seasonal DTC Directed Assortments
- Represent the DTC needs across the EMEA Merchandising organisation
- Liaise closely with EMEA GBU Merch team
- Be the regional DTC voice at key global milestone meetings
- Manage regional merchandising tasks aligned to KPI's
- Focus on key DTC markets - Spain, Italy, Russia, Poland etc
- Travel to domestic and international markets to conduct market, trend, competitor and consumer research and gain product feedback. (could include weekends/ unsociable hours)
- Create, communicate and brief new product ideas for category growth
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with key members of the global and market teams.
- Present product line at key internal meetings (i.e. sales meeting)
- Manage EMEA forecasting at category/model/style level.
- Creation and management of range grids/ presentations/ merchandising systems/ development systems etc.
- Manage and maintain the EMEA assortment info through the dedicated systems and documents.
- Organise and manage the merchandising sample set.
- Responsible for update of pricing and margin analysis for relevant products, ensuring appropriate margin requirements are met.
- Establish relationships with markets and keep in regular communication with them to ensure all product queries, requirements and feedback are dealt with efficiently and effectively.
- Managing sample arrival/ organisation/ cataloguing etc.
- Ability to work to tight deadlines to meet all merchandising milestones.
- Manage the line for maximum SKU efficiency
