Calzedonia Group is a fashion retail company specialised in the underwear, beachwear and hosiery market founded in Italy in 1986 and in the UK, we are operating three brands: Calzedonia, Intimissimi and Intimissimi Uomo.

Our subsidiary, established in 2006, already operates with 20 shops and to continue its successful story is currently looking for a:

District Manager


Under the direct supervision of the Area Manager/Brand Manager or Country Manager, the District Manager role is to support the stores in the organization of work in the stores, overseeing day-to-day operations and focusing on the long-term interests of the business.

  • Assist Area Manager & Country Managers in the analysis of various aspects of the business - setting budgets and targets, assessing risks and making recommendation for commercial operations
  • Prepare yearly/monthly/weekly sales reports and statistics for Area & Country Managers and provide insights into how the company can adjust to improve performance
  • Oversee financial KPIs; keep control of store costs in terms of orders, expenses, utilities, shrinkage, money loss, discounts, extra hours…)
  • Control personnel cost and goods cost according to the needs of each store
  • Develop and maintain a professional relationship with Visual and Store Managers to ensure they are properly supported and to identify their future needs and requirements
  • Check availability of products and manage orders and blocks in collaboration with Area Manager and Store Managers
  • Communicate any structural issues in stores through maintenance form (broken lights, telephone line, PDQ, ADT issues…) and follow up on the repair progress
  • Responsible for store`s compliance with Health & Safety regulations and documentation for HO
  • Conduct Store Manager`s reviews every six months with Area and Country Managers; and store management staff (Assistant Managers & Supervisors) with Store Managers
  • Deliver Store Managers training and follow up on store management staff training
  • Communicate daily figures to Area Manager
  • Communicate weekly figures and sales strategy to Area and Country Managers every Monday within a dedicated meeting in the HO
  • Communicate weekly strategy, statistics, and indications to all Store Managers every Monday
  • Check stores result everyday and email “week to now” to Area Manager as well as Store Managers every Thursday
  • Check your email daily and answer promptly. Update and inform HO team when required
  • Work efficiently and calmly to tight deadlines or when other factors arise

  • You have previous experience as District Manager or Store Manager
