Job description

We are currently recruiting for the position of Digital and E-commerce Executive, Travel Retail Europe, Middle-East and Africa, based in London, reporting to the Integrated Marketing Director. The Digital and E-commerce executive will work within the Travel Retail EMA Integrated Marketing team (currently a team of 6) to support and implement 360° media campaigns across Estée Lauder Companies brands within the Travel Retail Environment targeting the travelling consumer. This individual will also be responsible for driving e-commerce with a selection of retail partners in the region. Digital media: The role will support all elements of digital media, including social media, from campaign briefing to execution. The Digital Marketing Executive will work across brands facilitating media planning, delivering media schedules, supporting the creation of locally relevant digital assets and copy, and analyzing the end of campaign results. The candidate should have a strong point of view on creative best practices for digital display, social media and ecommerce and be able to help guide brands in their creative development. In conjunction with the Integrated Marketing Director, the role will work with agencies and vendors to understand and apply the latest targeting, channel, vendor and technology capabilities and trends to deliver best in class digital practice across brand campaigns. The role will also work on digital media plans, understanding and challenging metrics, ensuring plans meet campaign briefs and objectives and communicating plans with brand teams. This role will be expected to prepare and present in-depth campaign summary reports and will need to be comfortable presenting to multiple stakeholders including brand Directors. E-commerce: The role will be responsible for growing our e-commerce business with a selection of retail partners in the region in line with our regional ambitions. This will include: - Managing the online distribution acceleration, and the opening of new brand boutiques, working closely with brands and retailers - Ensuring all retailers sign our online retailer agreement prior to going live - Developing trade marketing calendars per key retailer, negotiate visibility on our retailers' platforms and implement campaigns working in close partnership with our retail partners. These activations will include paid media, social media, CRM, virtual selling, visibility across the retailers' platforms. - Per retailer account, the role will oversee budget planning, including providing guidance on future sales projections as well as building OPEX plans to deliver our growth ambitions. - Providing monthly commentary on the performance of their retailers online The role will work very closely with retail partners, needs to have strong relationship building skills and a commercial mindset. Data & Analytics: The Digital and E-commerce Executive will be responsible for analysing and reporting wider digital media trends and campaign performance and cascading learnings to brand teams. The role will work very closely with retail partners, needs to have strong relationship building skills and a commercial mindset. The role will work alongside the Integrated Marketing team, Regional and Global brand teams and needs to manage multiple projects and deadlines with efficiency and organisation. The role requires a deep understanding of the Consumer Travel Journey through analysing and cultivating sales data and consumer behaviour via CRM, social and digital media engagement. Excellent interpersonal and presentation skills are required, and candidates should be able to adapt their technical knowledge into simplistic, commercial language where necessary.


Qualifications and Experience Relevant experience in a digital marketing or e-commerce role Understanding of applied digital metrics Pro-active approach, solution focused Strives for excellence in execution and is detailed orientated Ability to communicate digital media plans with clarity Good presentation skills Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, can build relationships Analytical skills and attention to detail are essential to be successful in the role Ability to define processes, navigate multiple teams and be action orientated. Excellent Powerpoint and Excel skills An understanding of the Travel Retail sector is an advantage. A passion for prestige skin care/cosmetics is desirable.
