The ELC Data Analytics Manager will provide an opportunity to own and develop a vision for data and analytics in an established market-leading company. As ELC advances its data capability within the region, there is a need to find a person who can head up a team that is responsible for developing and executing valuable analytics that will shape the future of the business and it's brand.
Working hand in hand with the Data & Analytics Director this role will focus on producing analysis that not only will drive efficiency in understanding the past performance of the business, but important help to forecast and predict future trends. Identifying these trends and being able to translate them into actionable recommendation will be integral in driving the regional strategy and helping to gain market share in an ever-competitive market.
This role will help to shape and build the UK strategy, supporting the Data & Analytics Director, Regional Enterprise Marketing & Transformation Director and the ELT on consumer behaviour and trends to give strategic direction and insights that will help build and execute a winning strategy.
- Power Estee Lauder Companies portfolio of 29 brands with actionable consumer insights across all categories (Makeup, Skincare, Fragrance and Haircare)
- Lead the data analytics vision for the region, building a roadmap on key projects that should be prioritised to be developed
- Insights will focus primarily on consumer behaviors (purchasing habits, mindsets, consumer trends), category insights (product propensities, market forecasting) and channel analytics (changing retail landscape
- Role will lead on answering the key business questions from recruitment and retention, to market and consumer trends
- Develop a roadmap to further integrate and evolve online analytics powered by Google stack in the region
- Demonstrate a culture of analytical 'curiosity' through innovative, data driven insights on business questions Role Responsibilities:
- Report to UK Director of Data & Analytics
- Matrix into Global Consumer Insights
- Collaborate with Global Innovation, Trend, and Category Insights Team; Global Corporate Marketing Analytics and Global Retail Channel Team
- Link into UK ELT on key Regional projects
- Responsible for managing all key insights agency contacts in the Region
- Responsible for Corporate Consumer Insights Budget for Region
- Support all corporate, global and brand consumer insight initiatives Leadership/ Decision Making/ Independence of Action and Accountability:
- Develop and own roadmap for current and future Data Analytics initiatives within the region Problem Solving:
- Responsible for deciphering businesses biggest challenges and questions and developing logical process to help find answers quickly and effectively
- Help the business to understand what software and platforms are needed to advance data tech Leadership:
- Work collaboratively across consumer engagement Enterprise Marketing with Digital and Media Innovation Director, Data & Analytics Director, Cultural Relevancy Director, Communications Director and Retail Director to create and activate best practices across the functions
- Collaborate with Global colleagues in Consumer Insights and Global Innovation, Trend, and Category Insights to share latest trends, projects and best practices, & find opportunities to partner
- Feed into global war rooms for innovation and runway
- Present Regional strategy, plans and proposed structures to Senior Vice President & General Manager, Global Retail


Skills required:
- Advanced Excel skills
- Skills in Powerpoint, Word, Outlook
- Some experience in using advanced statistical methods to solve problems
- Experience in pulling different data sources together into cohesive analytical insights
