Job description
Job Mission:
As an Ambassador of the Maison, the Boutique Assistant plays a vital role in delivering exceptional client service and ensuring a seamless experience within the boutique. Responsible for welcoming clients, managing wait times, and assisting the Sales Associates, the Boutique Assistant also supports daily boutique operations and maintains a pristine boutique environment, including stockroom management and non-value orders.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Client Welcoming & Waiting Time Management
- Welcoming Clients:
- Uphold the Maison’s image with a professional and courteous demeanor.
- Provide an exceptional client experience with the highest degree of courtesy and professionalism.
- Greet and welcome clients upon their arrival in the boutique.
- Thank clients warmly upon their departure.
- Waiting Time Management:
- Manage client wait times through a dedicated app.
- Guide clients to waiting areas and ensure their needs are being addressed.
- Offer information and storytelling about the Maison and provide boutique tours to interested clients.
- Client Flow & Orientation:
- Answer client queries and assess their needs for further assistance.
- Direct clients to the appropriate department or representative.
- Ensure smooth client flow within the boutique.
- Fetch and return items for Sales Associates.
- Discreetly assist with tasks during sales interactions.
- Coordinate between Sales Associates and the Stock team.
- Handle gift wrapping and manage the packaging area.
- Escort clients to the door upon departure.
- Provide advice on fragrances and other boutique items when needed.
- Order non-value goods and supplies essential for sales, stock, and hospitality.
- Organize and optimize the stockroom (non-value items only).
- Receive deliveries of non-value goods and other necessary supplies.
- Maintain an impeccable boutique environment at all times.
- Ensure appropriate background music and olfactory atmosphere within the boutique.
- Ensure windows, counters, and boutique areas are in pristine condition, including housekeeping duties.
- Adhere to all Maison, group, and boutique policies, procedures, and guidelines.
- Participate in boutique inventories and price labeling.
- Assist with opening and closing operations, including setup and breakdown.
- Help implement visual merchandising guidelines.
- Maintain strong communication and take the initiative in addressing tasks.
- Show flexibility, availability, and a strong team spirit in the workplace.
- Excellent client service and communication skills.
- Ability to take initiative and be proactive in daily tasks.
- Strong organizational skills for stockroom management and boutique operations.
- Ability to work flexibly and as part of a team.
