Job description

The Assistant Store Manager supports the Store Manager to achieve store sales and maximizing profitability through effective management of the store team, service excellence and implementation of company programmes, policies and procedures. The ASM will also take full responsibility of the store in the absence of the Store Manager.

Key responsibilities and accountabilities:
•Identify opportunities to drive and maximize sales and profitability
•Achieve (and aim to exceed) targeted KPI’s
•People Management
•Motivate and inspire the team to deliver an exceptional customer service experience
•Implement and maintain effective and efficient operational processes, procedures and administration
•Protects business integrity
•Support with recruitment and conducting performance/probation reviews/HR related matters
•Ensures visual standards VM guidelines are implemented effectively
•Deputize in the absence of the Store Manager
•Works closely with HO


  • At least 1-2 years’ experience in a management role within a premium or fashion retail environment
  • Personable, confident and energetic
  • Great people manager with excellent communication and leadership skills
  • Service orientated, embeds to the team
  • Possess Computer Skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Commercial thinker
  • Must be able to work within the retail store hours which may operate 7 days per week. Hours will be on a rota basis
