The Search Platform subdomain is a platform team providing services for stream aligned teams within the Search domain. The Search Platform team currently provides 2 services to the company. We provide a Vespa search engine infrastructure suite that powers items search, search suggestions, recommendations, help center and internal search systems. The second service is Search Indexing Pipeline built on top of Apache Flink is able to process vast streams of data. In this role you will be working on these 2 services where you will help us to keep up with the Vinted growth as well enable product teams to build new features. As our new Search Engineer you’ll also be responsible for growing our backend platform to handle an accelerating platform scale. Information about the position We are seeking a talented Backend Engineer to join our team and support our new service, focusing on assisting Vinted sellers in maximizing their use of our platform and driving company growth.
