We are looking for a Transaction Assistant to join our fast-paced and diverse team of Private Shoppers. Delivering world class service to Harrods' most loyal clients and consistently exceeding their expectations is in our DNA. About the Role As a Transaction Assistant you will be working alongside our Private Shopping team, responsible for delivering a seamless client experience at point of sale. Below are just a few of the things you will be responsible for: Adhering to the Harrods Policy, Procedures and due diligence guidelines. Upholding the Harrods Values and striving to deliver the best luxury service at point of sale by providing an impartial central support to our Private Shopping team. Assisting the Private Shopping team with their client shopping requests, this might be during an appointment or afterwards with payment processing, packing and dispatch. Arranging add on services such as alterations, gift wrapping, arranging a delivery and other services across the store. Investigating quotes for dispatch and delivery arrangements, both locally and internationally as required through our in-store specialist teams. About You You will have excellent customer service skills and be confident that the decisions you make will be in the best interest of our customers. You will ensure that you develop and maintain relationships with colleagues and customers alike, whilst being able to handle a wide range of responsibilities. Our Private Shopping Waiter's will assist the Management team in running the Private Shopping areas effectively by maintaining high service standards and exceeding customer expectations. As a Private Shopping Waiter you are responsible for offering a seamless and unrivalled client journey, achieved the moment our clients walk through our doors, through personalised attention, intuitive and anticipatory service and in-depth product knowledge. About the role As a Personal Shopper you will work across the whole store, where no day will be the same. We are looking for a Uniformed Security Officer that will prevent and detect offences against staff, visitors and contractors and will safeguard the company's property, merchandise, monies and assets. About the role With your excellent interpersonal skills, you will work closely with a team of Uniformed Security officers to actively patrol the store and be on the lookout for potential offences. You'll also liaise with employees, the public, and police on day-to-day security matters, meet with other investigative agencies and conduct inquiries on their behalf if needed. Meanwhile, you'll keep up to date with any legislation that may affect your role. About You You will need exceptional interpersonal skills, as well as proficiency in conflict management and resolution techniques. You will require a high standard of personal appearance and a level of health and fitness that enables you to carry out the full duties associated with this position, which may include dealing with confrontational situations, as well as standing or patrolling for long periods of time. This role requires mental resilience to occupational hazards like abusive and threatening behaviour, dealing with confrontation and pressures. The role also necessitates a 4 on 4 off shift pattern that may include working at other Company premises and will include weekends, night work, Bank Holidays or Public Holidays as normal days of work. Additionally, extra hours and/or days of work maybe required and/or changed by the department, but with adequate notice (typically 48 hours) and therefore, a flexible approach is needed.
