The Role The Gifts Artworker works alongside the Gift Design Team to support artwork creation and development within the Gifts category. This role involves working collaboratively as a team and wider business. This role is able to undertake new job requests assigned by seniors independently with accuracy and attention to detail. This role requires excellent knowledge of the adobe suite for artworking, strong skills developed in visualisation and final artworking for packaging, textiles and visual documents. They are able to step in when the Mid Weight Gift Designer is away and also able to give feedback and development to peers and other team members. Showcase your creativity and artworking technical skills: Portfolio required for application. Key Responsibilities Artwork and coordination of Gift Tags & WIMG artwork, creating detailed specifications sheets - with strong communication between buying, artwork team and the Senior Designer. Responsible for all Poem artworks and checking these with Mid Weight Designers and Seniors prior to print, whilst keeping to the project timeline. Preparing and updating Gift triangles for new and existing collections, ensuring these are up to date prior to showings. Creating artwork for Gift or Knot Wrap specific events, working with the events team where needed. Final Artworks for Greeting Card collections, working with the Buyer, Artwork team & Gifts Project Manager to ensure all details and barcodes are accurate. Supporting the Senior Designer on artworking tasks needed to support the Parties category as and when needed. Supports the coordination and execution of design workshops for gift ranges, helping to build out new briefs, prepare design library prints and supports Talent Pool attendees where required. Responsible for all Knot Wrap samples, ensuring these are kept up to date and archived when necessary. Supports the Mid Weight Gift Designer with Parties assets artwork support. Shared responsibility to artwork design library, open call, artist group and freelance artworks. Able to step in for the Middle Weight Designer when absent with support from the rest of the team. Supports the Middle Weight designer on photography shoots for new gift and Knot Wrap collections. Communicates regularly with the artwork team for support during projects sharing this responsibility with the Mid Weight Designers. Supports final execution of slides created by the Category Project Manager for new collections and data analysis to be shared with the wider business. Checking levels of art/design materials needed for mocking up, workshops etc and communicating to Gift Design Lead to get these ordered when needed. Skills, Knowledge and Expertise Sound knowledge and experience in Adobe Suite: Illustrator, Photoshop & InDesign Strong skills developed in visualisation and proof of concept for artworks with attention to detail. Lead from the front and demonstrate 5* Customer Experience in the spa and on the shop floor. Be aware of the spa through observing and listening to the consultations taking place and where needed, provide clear consistent feedback, training and direction to the team. Ensure work is delegated throughout the management and spa team in order to maximise your time and prioritise tasks. Provide regular learning and coaching for your team to allow them to consistently deliver 5* treatments. This includes training on treatments, selling spa vouchers, product knowledge, brand awareness, and client care. Regularly have treatment swaps with the therapists to maintain standards and develop top up training. Communicate and promote well-being and self care within the spa and store teams, utilising Alexander Technique when needed. Ensure high standards are maintained throughout training and all staff adhere to this, following correct set routines and techniques, aiming to keep first time pass rates above 90%.
