Woman's Wear Studio Internship
A London based, high-end womenswear label launched in September 2012 with the support of Harvey Nichols CEO Joseph Wan, and former Chairman of the BFC Harold Tillman. PINGHE is an innovative women’s fashion house primarily based in west London, stocked by leading, high-end department stores such as Harvey Nichols, Fenwicks, Neimans Marcus all over the world. The creative office is based in London whilst the brand has its own sampling and production factory in Beijing, China, where the majority of development and all manufacture work is carried out to ensure precision and the highest quality. PINGHE’s strength lies in its highly innovative embroidery applications and pattern skills, maintaining a hand finished, in-house level of quality. PINGHE designs ensure a balance of femininity, form and functionality and are in a constant dialogue, resulting in the best fit and clothing that truly empowers and flatters the wearer.
The PINGHE design team are looking for highly motivated individuals to assist them with all aspects of the AW17 collection developing process.Working closely with the designers and pattern cutters in below areas:
-Help pattern cutter to copy and finish pattern, cut fabrics
-Sewing (hand and machine) calico toile
-Help designers to make swatches
-Go to market search fabric and trims
-Super creative with a desire to work for a top innovative international fashion house
-Good knowledge of Garment construction & Quality procedures
-2nd or 3rd year undergraduate in BA/MA from CSM/LCF preferred
-Good hand and machine sewing skills
-Supportive, a team player
Only travel expenses will be covered for this project.
