This is an exciting new opportunity for an experienced Sales Manager to join our team as we kick-start our wholesale business in Hong Kong. You’ll be developing and executing our sales plan across the region, partnering with accounts to drive profitability and brand awareness, focusing on the sports channel.
You’ll already have some great experience within footwear and you’ll know the market inside-out, with knowledge of the sports-shoe market and strong business acumen. You’ll be an amazing communicator, proactive and passionate about all things sales!
Develop and formulate strategic planning for our Hong Kong Wholesale business to deliver company fiscal year sales budget, maximize profitability and drive world-class brand standards at every touch point
Drive channel and door expansion by identifying sales opportunities in the Hong Kong market, working closely with key wholesale accounts to expand market coverage
Prepare the monthly sell-thru report at account level, tracking and analyzing sales and inventory status
Monitor the sales performance of the stores in order to continue to develop the business
Provide expertise and direction to your wholesale accounts on the use of selling tools and all relevant marketing materials needed to drive the sell-thru
Work with your wholesale accounts to build and maintain a high standard of brand presentation
Ensure all retail marketing activities & campaign are smoothly rolled-out in retail stores
Works cross-functionally with counterparts in Operations, Marketing & Merchandising to ensure alignment on distribution and commercial priorities
Conduct market research and analysis on competitor behaviour and latest product & market trends
Solid experience in a wholesale business preferably in the footwear industry with in depth knowledge of the market, with previous success in a commercial management role
Experience and understanding of the sports-shoe / athleisure channel in Hong Kong
Customer orientated, and comfortable with developing and implementing a successful sales strategy to increase profitable revenues
Experience managing small teams
Sound financial acumen, able to formulate and control sales budgets
Innovative, agile and action focused
Flexible and approachable, comfortable operating in a changing environment
Self-motivated and tenacious – you’ll be proactive and quick to spot commercial opportunities
Ability to think strategically but execute and deliver at the same time
A strong communicator
Good computer and reporting skills
Proficiency in English and Mandarin
