Job description

This is a rare and exciting opportunity to join an established and successful fashion retailer as a Store Manager on a Maternity Cover basis. The Store Manager position will pay up to £23,000 + Bonus& Benefits. This unique and exciting brand is currently seeking an experienced Store Manager to join their busy store in York.

Key Responsibilities as Store Manager include:

- Driving the store sales and exceeding targets through delivering operational excellence and building long lasting relationships with clients at all levels
- Motivating and mentoring the sales and sub management team to achieve individual and team set Key Performance Indicators such as Units Per Transaction (UPT), Average Transaction Value (ATV), Sales vs Target and others
- Organising staff rotas and some general admin work in compliance with the company policy
- Providing regular updates to the Area Manager with regards to store performance and any operational issues
- Taking full ownership for Stock Control management

The successful Store Manager will have the following skills/qualifications:

- Confident in motivating colleagues and inspiring the team to achieve personal and business targets
- At least 2 years experience at Store Manager or Assistant Manager level within a premium fashion brand
- Self motivated and bubby character, confident at delivering the highest level of 1 to 1 service
- Effective Time Management and operational skills
- Track record of constantly achieving and exceeding company set KPIs
