Social Media And Content Editor
We are an international luxury fashion house with a global chain of boutiques and concessions.
Overall Role Objectives:
•Create, source and edit written and photographic content for JOSEPH editorial features and social media outlets to support ecommerce, marketing & retail strategies.
•Promote and maintain an active, positive brand image.
•Manage the execution of brand content across JOSEPH social media channels, website (homepage & blog) and newsletters
•Supply, coordinate & monitor content requested by external press, marketing & retail platforms.
•Support and implement digital and social media strategies across the business.
•Create on-brand engaging and interactive content for JOSEPH editorial features and social media outlets.
•Ensure brand consistency on all editorial content
•Support PR team with creative copy for collection releases, interviews and brand related content.
•Act as ‘social media’ brand guardian by monitoring & responding to comments in accordance with company guidelines.
•Create on-brand, engaging daily content for social media platforms across international key markets: Facebook, Instagram, Twitter and Pinterest
•Drive impressions, engagement, site visits and sales through content
•Source imagery and writing captions for all above social media platforms daily
•Interact with key press, blogger, designer and digital influencers on social media to establish & maintain strong relationships and increase JOSEPH online exposure.
•Propose and project manage specific influencer campaigns: Liaison with management agencies and contracts (in close partnership with Joseph legal teams).
Online editorial features
•Planning, sourcing, writing and curating original content for the editorial section of the website, about JOSEPH lifestyle, culture, and JOSEPH multibrand designers alongside the ecommerce team.
•Sourcing imagery for the editorial section of the website
•Collaborating with ecommerce on still life shoots of JOSEPH and multibrand designer product (planning shoots, editing items, coordinating buyers, choosing locations)
•Working closely with the Graphic Designer on editorial content
•Maintaining relationships with contacts within the industry (bloggers, photographers, digital influencers) to feature on JOSEPH’s social channels and editorial area
•Staying ahead of the curve on culture news
•Creating features through conducting, editing, and writing up interviews with featured guests
•Plan and execute product and street style shoots.
•Assist on various forms of copywriting within the company:
-ecommerce: newsletters, homepage and editorial features
-Press Interviews on behalf of Creative Director & Head of Menswear
- BA degree or equivalent in media / journalism or equivalent related field
- Relevant writing and editing experience
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to identify market trends
- Creative problem solving ability
- Resilient under pressure
