The Role

The Superdry brand is a genuine British success story that has grown to a turnover of £872m, £96m profit and a strategic plan in place that will make us a £1bn turnover company by 2020. You will

- Spot new global store and property locations, secure the best deal and negotiate on terms for new acquisitions, in line with the property 5 year plan
- Use insight and financial modelling for all new stores - produce market entry strategies and country plans for existing markets in cooperation with the Heads of Retail
- Asset manage the extensive existing portfolio, including relocations, upsizes, refits, rent review budgets, rating budgets and lease expires. Ensure that your team set up and maintain a Property Database for all existing stores
- Have substantial involvement during due diligence and lease negotiations
- Work in cooperation with the Global New Store team to timeline program for both financial and store development.
- Work collaboratively with both internal and external lawyers
- Engage Finance on capital contributions and initial rent payments
- Deal with property disposals as applicable with tact and diplomacy

You are

- A highly experienced store acquisitions/disposals subject matter expert with proven negotiation skills and deep experience. You don’t have to be from a fashion retail background, but it would be an advantage
- Professionally qualified in surveying, engineering or accountancy (e.g. MRICS, MICE, ACA) or equivalent industry experience
- Keen to keep up your continuous professional development
- Commercially astute and able to make a difference to the bottom line
- Knowledgeable around building regulations in key markets
- An effective leader with an engaging style
- Someone with outstanding presentation skills and the ability to articulate yourself verbally and in writing
- A team player who is able to build relationships across the business and with external parties
- IT literate – Word, Excel, PowerPoint etc
