Northern Irish designer Jonathan Anderson established J.W.Anderson in 2008.
At first an elaborate collection of accessories quickly attracted attention, enabling the fledgling label to show on-schedule during 2008’s London Fashion Week.
The success of this debut collection earned both critical acclaim and commercial success for Anderson, whose label is now regarded as one of London’s most innovative and forward thinking brands.
Its unique design aesthetic offers a modern interpretation of masculinity and femininity by creating thought-provoking silhouettes through a conscious cross-pollination between menswear and womenswear elements. This idiosyncratic perspective, which earned the label a cult following, prompted J.W.Anderson to present a women’s capsule collection in 2010.
A steady growth in demand gave occasion to J.W.Anderson first stand-alone on-schedule women’s show at London Fashion Week. International editors and buyers have also taken note, gaining the label a prominent reputation in the US, Europe and Asian markets.
J.W.Anderson has evolved into an internationally renowned and award-winning brand, with accolades including British Fashion Awards for ‘Emerging Talent, Ready-to-Wear’ (2012) and ‘The New Establishment Award’ (2013).
A recent investment by LVMH Moët Hennessy further cements J.W.Anderson‘s status as a rising, new-generation brand. Following the investment Jonathan Anderson was also appointed Creative Director of Loewe, and works on both brands in tandem.
To be a reliable and fundamental person in the sales team which profitably delivers volume, top line revenue and gross profit targets. Done through building strong retail partnerships and brand equity, with a focus on high standards of customer / consumer satisfaction.
Be an excellent brand ambassador in meet/greet clients at the showroom in Paris, London and/or NYC.
Present the collection with confidence and excellent product/brand knowledge.
Receive, analyze & enter forward orders from clients whilst upholding appropriate product assortments.
Organize sample deliveries to/from showrooms.
Ensure smooth running & immaculate presentation of showroom during selling campaign.
Participate in organization & execution potential out of season events (eg, for client training, sample sales or other events for revenue growth).
Processing of returns/re-orders from wholesale clients.
Oversee deliveries to clients, and be point person between internal distribution/logisitics & external clients/agencies.
Partner with internal finance team to ensure all payments are received on time and that payments are settled as the stock is ready to be shipped.
Input of orders into internal Zedonk system.
Develop and implement effective sales analysis tools in line with the sell process and standards, focused on building improved customer relationship and optimising their performance
Work with product development team to provide market information required for building the line and assortment plans which meet hurdle rates, volume, margin, brand strategy and central merchandising requirements.
Ensure effective planning by collaborating closely with merchandising to optimise stock levels and avoid stock outs.
Clear communication and follow up plan on weekly basis and at key dates and gates in the process to manage expectations and deliverable within the team
General sales department administration.
- 2-3 years of experience in Wholesale Sales, preferably within a showroom environment inside a luxury fashion brand. Ideally with experience of EMEA.
- Mush be fluent in Italian.
- Promising track record with demonstrable success in driving sales while delivering profitable revenue growth.
