Company description

A family-run garment manufacturer based in Casablanca (Morocco) with over 30 years of existence. We focus on women’s wear, mainly blouses, dresses, trousers, skirt, coats & jackets for the fast paced European fashion market.

We are currently looking for a Sales Executive to work on the opening of new doors and opportunities.
Develop our business through enlarging our customer’s portfolio in order to strengthen our presence and respond quickly to customer’s requests. Therefore, the position should be based in London (covering the whole of the UK).

Job description

Create and develop strong relationships with buyers and retailer’s head office purchasers.
Have a strong eye for trends design. Research and produce continuously the latest ideas and trends for the UK market in order to “predict” the upcoming seasonal trends.
Help the product development of the collection by communicating directly with in-house colleagues (design, pattern-making, sourcing and planning).
Daily follow-up of pending actions (samples, pricing and all kind of customer’s new queries)
Liaise frequently and meet buyers presenting and selling the new collection, monitor the collection’s performance and seek feedback on forthcoming tendencies to support future planning.
Negotiate prices and terms with customers
Carry out permanent customer’s or potential customer’s store visits to fully understand their retail environment and to produce development and trend memos
Achieve the business results by reaching the KPI's set by the CEO.
Eventually source and select local raw materials suppliers

Profile

Minimum 2-5 years as an experienced sales executive. The ideal candidate will have background in retail
and wholesale.
Consistent knowledge of UK’s fast-fashion and new-comer’s market
Excellent interpersonal, negotiation and communication skills in order to build fast and effective relationships internally and externally
Profit oriented
Proactive and anticipating client needs
Ability to work as a part of a team and on own initiative
A passion and keen interest in the fashion market with an ambition to achieve company sale targets
A team player, self-motivated and confident
French speaking is an advantage
