Job description

Our client, an emerging Global brand is entering an exciting phase of expansion and is looking for an EMEA Sales Director to be accountable for the profitability of the region; setting and implementing the sales strategy to deliver continued growth and increase market share. The ideal candidate will have relevant and current experience of the Fashion, Footwear or Sporting goods markets and an in-depth understanding of working within a Multi-channel retail environment, specifically of working with distributors and agents. Reporting to the Operating Board you will partner with the UK Sales Director and provide inspirational leadership to your team; coaching and developing individuals to success.

Key Responsibilities:
-Accountable for the overall profitability of the region
-Devise and implement strategy for the business
-Drive growth and expansion through relevant business partnering
-Build and maintain profitable and enduring relationships with key partners
-Use insight and data to drive sales and maximise opportunity
-Manage team through inspirational leadership
-Promote a target driven sales environment that thrives on exceeding targets
-Improve and monitor the cost of sales
-Guide marketing activity for partners in line with brand DNA
Key Skills:
-Experience of successfully developing business and brands in a relevant market
-A strategic thinker, who is assertive and an exceptional negotiator
-Demonstrable drive and track record of consistently achieving sales targets and delivering agreed plans
-High level of commercial and financial acumen and ability to formulate and control sales budgets
-Strong analytical skills with an understanding of IT and systems
-Experience of leading teams to a high level of success through inspirational leadership
-Excellent interpersonal skills, able to communicate effectively
-Able to demonstrate creativity in identifying sales opportunities
-Shows flexibility and adaptability to changing situations
-Language skills desirable but not essential
