Job description

We are looking for a passionate Part time Sales Assistant to join our Leeds team.

It is a 4 days a week role- weekend included.

The role:

The main objective of this Sales Assistant position is to support store management in achieving a store environment that nurtures creativity and employee development.

Your main tasks will be:

•Deliver a positive, friendly experience by engaging the customer through conversation and service
•Provide detailed product knowledge suited to the customer requirement
•Focusing on customers and not on other tasks during prime time selling hours
•Provide a store experience that reflects exceptional customer service, going above and beyond to retain customer loyalty and build the reputation of the brand
•Contribute to the store by being positive, respectful and helpful to others
•Uphold Company standards and act as a positive role model to peers
•Work productively within the team and take initiative to work with others toward a common, collaborative goal
•Demonstrate proficiency in job knowledge (i.e. tills, shipment tasks, and fitting room guidelines)
•Participate in the processing of new shipment and help the team to keep receiving and back stock areas clean and organised
•Assist in the timely and accurate completion of weekly tasks (i.e. markdowns, re-tickets)
•Uphold store merchandising and cleanliness standards
•Ensure that merchandise is ticketed and the sales floor is well stocked

Profile

Candidates must haves:
  • Proud to be a Brand Ambassador.
  • Passion for customer service, ensuring the customer remains at the forefront of everything that the team do.
  • Strong planning and organisational skills with the ability to react quickly with changing priorities.
  • Ability to work with enthusiasm and pace.
  • Showing a passion for driving sales, ensuring that wherever possible every customer is able to purchase the item they wanted either in store, or online.
  • A desire to progress, asking for support when required.
