Product Development Executive 14-16 Month Ftc
We have partnered with a British Hermitage Brand recruiting a Product Development Executive to join them on a 14- 16 month basis.
*Reporting to the Product & Marketing Director and with regular review meetings with the Director of Sourcing and Head of Marketing, as well as regular update sessions with the Designers - will input and update all the admin systems and processes that support the Product Team and all their product development projects
*Responsibility for ensuring that all master tracking and recording documentation, is 100% accurate and up to date at all times for Product Development and Buying including cost quotations.
*Responsible for the generation and outlining of ticketing requirements and to flag up issues that need attention to management in a proactive manner.
*Support the Buying Process by being the first point of the gathering and inputting of Cost Price quotes in line with the development cycle - on time and as critical path.
*Ensure the timely support of all quotes accompanying the PS8 sign off form to deliver to Sourcing Team.
*To manage the product sample process to ensure optimum visibility and optimisation of samples to facilitate New Product Development, Sales and Customer need.
*Work closely with SSC Technical, SSC Merchandisers and Designers to co-ordinate the shipment of all product samples ensuring they are recorded, and their location tracked from shipping, through delivery to the company
*Co-ordinate project and development review meetings on behalf of the Product & Marketing Director ensuring all next steps are recorded and circulated promptly.
*Ensure all invoices for Sample shipping are properly coded before issued to P&M Director for sign off before submitting to Finance and tracking the value on a Database.
*Log all new developments, via the Live Developments document.
*Monitor all projects through the fast, medium and slow NPD pathways.
*Accountable for the Generation of all new model creation numbers; adding all model numbers for the UK and USA AS400 system, including nest codes.
*Maintenance of the BFS, that all information is up to date and request copy from Marketing.
*Creation of ticketing data for every product in line with the NPD process and handover to Marketing for activation.
*Maintain swing tag and POS database to enable timely and accurate accessing of swing tag art work specific to individual products.
*Chase costs for new developments and file for Sourcing Team and escalate any problems that need resolving.
*Ensure that all PS8 sign off forms are filed.
*Maintenance of samples, so they are stored safely and in an orderly fashion.
*Control bookings for the Showroom and Board room.
*With the Design Team, make sure that all AP/RP files are up-to-date.
*Maintenance of the FTP site, that information is the most up-to-date and any old information is removed.
*Maintenance of the PPM, that all information is complete.
*Request Salesman samples when required and log the status of whom has samples and chase their return.
*To chase International sample requirements and provide Shanghai Office with the information in order that samples are dispatched on time.
*Ensure that the Showroom is tidy and with the correct samples.
*Sample tracking, receipt from suppliers and dispatch/return from customers.
*All tracking and recording documentation is instantly accessible and is completely accurate at all times.
*Product & Marketing Director and Sourcing Director will be able to make the right decision based on the right administrative information.
*All relevant stakeholders are aware of, and have access to, accurate information regarding their aspect of the development and buying cycle which supports them in achieving their accountabilities.
*All product samples are tracked and their whereabouts known at all times.
*The showroom and the samples sell off process are managed regularly and efficiently to ensure our office stock of samples remains manageable.
