Job description

We have partnered with an accessories brand, seeking a Planning Outlet Specialist to join the team.

Key Responsibilities;

Planning Outlet Specialist FT (m/f)

Embedded within our European Retail Management team, you'll be responsible to develop and execute plans consistent with the strategic vision of the company's collections in terms of forecasting, trending and inventory management for currently ten Outlet Stores in eight European countries.
We are looking for an Outlet animal who knows the Outlet business by heart.
Responsibility:
*Review, analyze and manage the inventory in the Outlet Stores so that the flow of inventory is appropriate and consistent with the Sales and Financial Plans
*Provide monthly and quarterly reports concerning sales, trends, forecast accuracy and inventory management
*Forecast product lines, category and sku levels for new launches and replenishment products
*Participate in the annual sales planning process
*Determine mark down strategies and manage all promotions
*Improve profitability of stores through margin control and by maximizing on specific outlet gross margin goals
*Develop an understanding of every countries legal restrictions around pricing, product placement, promotional laws and launch dates by country

Competencies:
Proven background in forecasting, trending and inventory management in an outlet setting
Strategic abilities combined with a strong qualitative and quantitative analysis skill set
Strong Team Player to gain and foster cross-functional support for forecast and inventory accuracy
Passionate about our products while being strongly focused on the profitable outcome of all Brand outlet stores
Strong communication skills in written and verbal English
Ability to work in a dynamic environment and quickly shift between various tasks and responsibilities
Proficient spreadsheet and computer skills in Excel, Access and ideally SAP (or comparable system)
