Job description

Elite Associates have partnered with an exciting and well-known high street cosmetics brand to recruit a National Account Manager. This is a very exciting opportunity to join a great company with an impressive history who remain one of the leaders in the market.

Reporting to the General Manager this role is responsible for the day to day running and management of the Boots, Tesco and Feelunique accounts, as well as the potential to support new business development. The Account Executive will be the main point of contact for the relevant retail account / buyer and will liaise directly with the Warehouse, Production, Marketing and NPD departments

SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES:

Ensure all relevant documentation e.g. new line forms are submitted on time and with the correct level of information
Work with Planning & Inventory Manager to ensure product forecasts are agreed, taking into account the impact of promotions and secondary sites on sales
Periodically compare forecasted and actual sales in order to continuously improve the accuracy of the sales forecasts
Manage 3rd party design agencies to produce all relevant promotional sites / stands on time and within agreed budgets
Work closely with agencies to create impactful hotspots, seeking out shared opportunities with other retail accounts to be cost efficient where possible.
Attend weekly status meetings to communicate forthcoming activity, raise any concerns and share sales data
Keep track of all investment ensuring that spend is closely monitored and does not exceed the level agreed as part of any Joint Business Plans
Support General Manager with JBP planning
Maintain regular dialogue, both verbally and face to face with buyers in order to build strong working relationships
Work with retail buyers to agree trade promotions and challenge proposals if they are not deemed to be in the interests of the brand
Manage stand updates, planning the best use of space and interrogating sales performance in order to select the correct products to remove from stands
Keep Marketing, Design and NPD teams up to date with forthcoming promotions, updates etc. in order that workload can be scheduled and planned accordingly
Monitor the competitor marketplace on a regular basis, sharing thoughts on opportunities / threats for the brand with the wider management team.

Candidate Profile:

Minimum 2 years experience
Excellent attention to detail
Passion for beauty, cosmetics and fashion
Excellent communication skills
Ability to build relationships with internal and external teams
