Job description

Zachary Daniels are recruiting for a Merchandiser or Junior Merchandiser based in the Manchester area.

My client are part of a large retail group with a diverse range of products and are not for the faint hearted. You will get to work with amazing Designers and Buyers to help create a cutting edge specialist range within womenswear and get to work in a business where you're job is not 'just a job'. They are seeking an excellent Merchandiser or ambitious Junior Merchandiser to join and grow with their business as the brand takes the UK by storm.

As the Merchandiser you will be responsible for all seasonal planning for the department developing a commercial and balanced range offering for the customer. You will also ensure all weekly analysis, monthly sales reviews and allocations are carried out to trade the department to deliver on sales, margins and markdowns. This is a business critical position where you will present to the board in range reviews and work closely with the Buying and Marketing teams to deliver a profitable range for the business.

The perfect candidate will already be working in a Merchandiser capacity and ready for the official title. You must be an outstanding Junior Merchandiser who is ready for a challenging step up in order to be considered. You must have experience in working with high volumes of SKUs but all product backgrounds are welcome. Ideally you will have worked with both stores and e-commerce; my client also has pop up stores at festivals and shopping centres so speed and the ability to spot opportunities are desirable characteristics to have.

If you believe you have the relevant skills and experience apply today.
