Job description

For this position, the Wholesale Assistant provides support in the day-to-day wholesale activities within the department ranging from data analysis/reporting, support on key account management, product flow management, direct contact with internal as well as external linkages of the Karl Lagerfeld brand to maintenance of the retail approach within the wholesale business unit.

•Delivering constant support into the development of the wholesale business (prospection, market research, operations)
•Back Office management, both qualitative and quantitative (Sell-Through tracking, Sales Analysis, Illustrated Buys, SWAPs, reorders etc.)
•Providing assistance to the Sales Director
•Contacting with the customer service / logistics teams to organize swaps / track the products flow
•Working closely together with the wholesale team on projects from inception to production
•Setting up Sales Challenges for Key partners
•Handling after-sale service for partners
•Assisting in the maintenance of high standards at POS (trainings, VM, sales)
•Showroom: during the buying campaign (2-3 weeks in January / June), driving the clients through the new collection and retrieving the selections, tracking the OTBs ; Maintaining showroom standards(Visual Merchandising/tidiness, client reception), managing the showroom team during sales campaigns


·         Experience: 1st internship  in fashion/marketing is a plus
·         Fluent in English, both verbal and written; basic knowledge (or higher) of French would be appreciated
·         Proficiency in Microsoft Office, in particular, Excel  
·         Proactivity, self-organization, analytical mindset, ability to work independently
·         Passion for fashion, strong interest in Wholesale
·         Attention to detail
·         Ability to communicate openly, honestly and constructively
·         Excellent customer relationship skills
