We’re looking for a HR OPERATIONS ADVISOR (Payroll Administrator) to join our team.

JOB PURPOSE

The purpose of this role is to deliver an outstanding payroll service - to ensure our people can totally depend on us to pay them accurately and on time every payroll run.



DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES



Working as part of a team of 3-4 using the payroll system Microsoft Dynamics Navison (Miracle), to process lunar timesheet payrolls for our UK and Ireland stores
Answering payroll queries quickly and accurately, via telephone and email
Running reports to check accuracy of payroll
Managing exceptional payments
Processing general journals
Providing data and reporting required by HR, Finance, HMRC, Retail Ops, benefit providers etc.
Payroll document management and filing
Maintaining payroll policy and process documentation to reflect current practice
Supporting the HR Operations team as required – e.g. using the payroll system ADP to help process the fortnightly Australia and USA payrolls

Profile

REQUIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
 
Skills
  • Understanding and experience of payroll processes and systems
  • Understanding and experience of HMRC rules and guidelines associated with payroll
  • Strong numeracy skills and ability to manage large volumes of data
  • Attention to detail
  • Good knowledge of Excel (basic formulas)
