We have partnered with a fantastic retail business to assist in the recruitment of a Global HR Director based in Central London.As the HRD you will partner with the leadership team to develop & execute a HR strategy that focuses on growth of both retail & wholesale.
Responsible for senior level decision making and both day to day management and strategic direction of the organisation
Provide information and reports on data such as staff turnover, references, cost per hire, training hours per person, etc.
Ensure all staff receive appraisals in accordance with company policy and monitor probationary periods
Deal with any performance or grievance issues in a legally compliant and professional way
Provide advice on and administer maternity and paternity leave cases. Responsible for resource planning for maternity re-joiners
Change management will be an important aspect to drive business growth
Own entire talent management and bench marking in the Retail Services group.
Support Retail Area Managers and Store teams by offering guidance on HR related questions and concerns.
Establishing and implementing an HR offering that effectively communicates and supports the Company's vision and strategic objectives. - Developing the HR strategy in support if the Company's business objectives.
Line managing and developing HR team and ensuring that all documents and correspondence issued by the HR department is legally compliant, accurate and of a consistently high standard
Partnering with the business on the design and delivery of salary structure, sales incentive schemes, sales training and organisational design, development and performance management
Maintain and develop leading edge HR systems and processes to address the effective management of people
Manage direct HR costs across the business, ensuring cost targets are met and influence indirect HR costs
Minimum 5 years HR experience within retail environment
Must have up to date employment law knowledge
Demonstrates an ability to plan the work of the team to achieve the company goals.
