Job description

I am working alongside a Luxury Fragrance brand to find a Global Trainer. Based here in London- required to travel. The Global Training Manager will be responsible for the development and implementation of the best in class training and education programme globally across the perfume business, and recognised as such throughout the industry.

*Work with the Consumer Marketing Manager to develop, execute and implement the overall training & educations plans to support the brands commercial goals. The Global Training Manager's particular focus encompasses:

oResponsible for the on going development of the training programmes and implementation plans and ultimate execution
oDevelopment of train the trainer concept across the distributor network. Identifying key train, the trainer opportunities, building strong relationships and support networks to ensure the robust development of knowledge and customer experience across the network
oIdentify key training and educational coaching techniques, tools and ways of working that deliver strong sales growth in partnership with the sales teams and distributor networks
oCoordinate, support and deliver all global training activities for regional sales conferences; new product development and campaign launches; tactical and seasonal sales driving activity and core skills development
oTo develop a global mystery shopping programme to objectively support and monitor training standards in key regions
oTo work closely with the sales teams on implementation and development of the on-boarding process. Ensuring sales team recruitment criteria is consistent and representative of the high standards required by the business and continually learning and adapting from lessons learnt
oTo work closely with the sales teams on their train the trainer objectives: standards of implementation and standards of graduation for each and every 90-day module of the training programme
oTo develop simple monitoring methods for the the sales teams to adopt, to maximise their time in the field and developing their teams
oTo develop and implement ways of working across the regions, that enable simplicity of learning and visualisation techniques such as the use of on line tools, video play back and role play
oTo ultimately ensure the training programmes support the robust sales growth plans of the business across all regions. Whilst ensuring that the customer experience is second to none and completely appropriate to the luxury sector positioning of the brand


*5+ year's experience working in the beauty industry, preferably with experience across luxury retail, in a training and education capacity
*5 year's proven experience of delivering multi faceted training programmes globally
*Understanding of the luxury industry, high-net-worth consumers of luxury goods and services and the drivers of purchase and advocacy of luxury brands
*Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
*Exceptional organisation skills and ability to lead by example with very high standards of professional conduct
*Self motivated and driven personality, naturally inspirational and with energetic and productive work ethic
*Ability to work remotely whilst being well connected to key teams
*Ability to think creatively about requirements to deliver programmes to high brand standards, and effective ways to increase effectiveness and productivity and drive commerciality
*Proactive approach to planning and problem-solving
*Highly resourceful team player, collaborative in style with colleagues, customers and partners
*Effective manager of multiple priorities and projects
*Location of role to be either USA (with ability to travel widely West & East Coasts) or at HQ London
*Willing and able to travel globally up to 80% of the time
