AMP, a leading talent management & creative production company working with the most prolific fashion photographers, is looking for a dynamic Finance Manager with sound experience in Financial Reporting & Process management with an accounting background to join our London-based office.
This role requires the ability to perform financial analysis and profitability assessment of creative productions with a significant level of sophistication. The capability to communicate successfully with creative teams is a key skill for the role, as well as the proficiency in consolidating and presenting data to shareholders on a monthly basis.

Job description

The role consists of (but not limited to) the following responsibilities:

-Preparing monthly financial reporting to present to management, explaining the variances and key metrics
-Maintaining the books and records of the company, performing daily accounting and administration operations
-Supervise and manage an Accountant performing Accounts Payable,Bank Reconciliations & Journal entry
-Cash flow and treasury management
-External and intercompany billing
-Debtor and creditor management
-VAT returns, liaising with FCCA for tax related compliance and statutory financial statement production
-Enhancing existing financial accounting and control systems
-Developing current business activity reporting, improving creative productions profitability forecasting
-Engaging job producers in monitoring and communicating about business activity

Profile

  • University education
  • Qualified ACA/ACCA/CIMA or in the process
  • At least 5 years of experience in a similar role
  • Self-directed with the ability to manage priorities
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Fashion industry knowledge
  • Fluency in another language is appreciated
