Donna Ida Thornton opened the doors to her first boutique in Chelsea, London in 2006 after spotting a gap in the market for a shopping haven that specialised in premium denim. Stocking an edit of the best denim brands, she quickly gathered a reputation as the ‘Jean Queen’ by fitting London’s fashion conscious women, editors, street style icons and influencers in their perfect jeans. In 2012 Donna utilised her denim expertise to launch her own brand, IDA, which GRAZIA magazine hailed ‘Jeans Genius.’ Her first collection comprised of high-waisted jeans which included Ivy the High Top Skinny, Rizzo the High Top Ankle Skinny and Jeanie the High Top Cigarette Leg which are part of IDA’s core collection. The collection is refreshed seasonally and now comprises contemporary separates of the finest cashmere, silk pieces, outerwear and lifestyle.
This is a hands on end to end role where you will have direct responsibility for pick and pack of online customer orders, managing the ecommerce store through to developing the online strategy.
As well as basic salary sales commission on online sales will also be awarded.
This is the first hire dedicated to the online team, however as sales increase the intention will be to hire an assistant to this role who will focus on pick and pack and customer services allowing this role to focus on the online site and strategy.

Fulfilling all online customer orders, including pick and pack and booking delivery
Processing all sales and returns through our online store (Shopify)
Managing the Customer Care email account
Working closely with third party development agency on web projects, improvements, bug fixes and updates
Merchandising the site in line with best-selling lines, strategic promotional offers, seasonal trends and marketing messaging
Working with hosting agency on website infrastructure, flagging any issues and communicating between all third parties
Project manage ongoing support work as well as larger web projects
Responsible for all site content, ensuring it is up to date, refreshed constantly, relevant.
Identify improvements for the website infrastructure, user journeys and functionality
Report on web sales and behaviour and use analysis to drive improvements
Ongoing analysis using google analytics: presenting weekly report to team in trade meetings, reviewing performance of campaigns/launches etc, performing ad-hoc analysis
Manage product catalogue online: coordinate product information, copy and imagery with relevant teams.
Planning, building and sending weekly marketing emails - with Marketing & Graphic Design teams
Managing, optimising and developing automated email campaigns
Managing Email partner and being main point of contact for that relationship
Manage PPC campaigns with third party provider
Coordinate Affiliate and blogger relationships with Marketing team
Managing on-site SEO strategy, working alongside our SEO agency, to identify opportunities and improvements to increase traffic and SERP’s ranking
