Job description

Objective:
The Creative Director is responsible for ensuring the consistency and strength of the brand look, identity, and feel across all channels, including in-store and digital with a strong focus on video and social imagery. This position will make sure our positioning constantly attracts, inspires and engages our target customer where they are. This role will collaborate across all marketing and merchandising to ensure the creative process is solid and inline with brand marketing strategies. Successfully partnering with 3rdpartycreative resources, experiential agencies and other resources is needed to create campaigns that play to win.

Responsibilities:
Build brand standards and create processes to ensure all assets are brand appropriate
•Generate strong, strategy-based concepts and champion ideas with enthusiasm.
•Establish and enforce brand standards to maintain a singular voice by partnering with in-store team to ensure visual merchandising standards, partnering with marketing team to build a premium web experience, and partnering with brand image team to craft posts that reflect the brand
•Bring, present, and implement new ideas and innovations to continually improve upon creative.

Produce creative assets
•Oversee the filming of commercials and photo-shoots to highlight seasonal product stories and engage customers on social media and other digital platforms to reinforce brand vision.
•Partner with vendors to produce brand appropriate creative content for in-store and digital marketing efforts.
•Manage all in-store and event signage, promotional materials and packaging to ensure a focused brand strategy that appeals to the muse
•Partner with3rd party creative and experiential agencies to produce tent pole campaigns and video franchises

Establish brand story telling
•Ensure vendor adherence to brand standards to make certain assets support overall Champs Sports brand marketing strategies

Promote a creative culture throughout the brand
•Identify strategies to engage in-store, creative, and digital teams in creative thinking while inspiring the brand expression

Adhere and meet all deadlines set for each project as determined by weekly and master productions calendars.
Provide guidance and direction to team to ensure work is delivered to highest quality.

Build and maintain relationships with photographers, agencies, vendors, design, visual merchandising and cross-functional teams etc.

Set direction and manage team from concept through project completion of all projects including packaging, retail display, special promotions, emails, banners, presentations, etc.

Profile

Qualifications: 
  • Strong video content experience
  • Retail industry background
  • Visual merchandising and promotional marketing background
  • Ability to coach and develop a team in an agile environment
  • Ability to work in a fast paced, deadline driven environment which demands high quality, creativity and consistency
  • Superior written, presentation and interpersonal skills
  • Collaborative working style
  • Ability to work effectively with all levels, both locally and remotely with travel
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and Powerpoint) and ability to learn new systems
  • Bachelor’s Degree or above
